About the ULMA

The primary objective of ULMA is to secure the future of late model racing by utilizing a unified set of rules, which racing venues, track owners/promoters, and special-event organizers may use for late model racing. ULMA believes this concept benefits tracks and drivers, especially the tracks who cannot afford to host super late model racing and the drivers who cannot afford to compete with super late model touring series.

July 17, 2017 - Dustin Hodges wrapped up a track championship at Callaway Raceway in Fulton, Missouri last Friday evening in the final ULMA event at the track for his fifth win of the season. However, it was a bittersweet moment as the Callaway Raceway season came to a close as previously scheduled. Additionally, the Atterberry family announced the track was now closed, quite possibly for good, unless another promoter leases the track as the Atterberry’s expressed they will no longer run the facility.

July 13, 2017 - Last weekend’s Lucas Cattle Company ULMA action led to a fourth win of the year for defending ULMA Champion Dustin Hodges as he took the checkers at Callaway Raceways on Friday and a first victory of the year for Todd Schute of Des Moines, Iowa as he grabbed the checkers at Lucas Oil Speedway.

July 5, 2017 - Last Thursday evening, Johnny Fennewald of Appleton City, Missouri raced his way to his third Lucas Cattle Company ULMA Late Model victory of the season. Fennewald’s victory came during the special Thursday evening program at the speedway and earned the driver a cool $1,000 payday. The race also served as the opening event of the RacinDirt.com “Double-Down Showdown,” a two-race mini-series held at Lucas Oil Speedway and Lakeside Speedway.
