September 13, 2017 - There are just a handful of events left to determine the 2017 ULMA championship and last weekend defending ULMA Champion Dustin Hodges and former two-time ULMA Champion, Jason Russell, scored victories at Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon, Missouri, during a special segmented event.

Prior to the competition, ULMA drivers on hand chose to have championship ULMA points awarded in segment one of the event, which Russell eventually claimed his third win of the season. Current point’s leader Aaron Marrant was second with David Melloway, Larry Ferris, and Dustin Hodges rounding out the top five.

Segment two of the event featured a big-money payout for the leader of the final lap, which was Dustin Hodges. Larry Ferris, Cody Holtkamp, Jason Russell and Justin Russell finished out the top five. Although the final segment did not count towards the ULMA points championship, Hodges will still earn a ULMA win.
