April 19, 2017 - Jason Russell and Chris Smyser drove to victories last weekend during Lucas Cattle Company ULMA action. For Russell, it was his second victory of the year and and 28th of his career. Smyser took the win at Randolph County Raceway, where he registered several wins last season.

At Callaway Raceway, Russell’s victory came over last year’s overall ULMA Champion Dustin Hodges. Todd McCoin, Chris Cox, Ashlee Lancaster, and Cody Holtkamp were next in the running order after Russell completed the distance. Racing returns to Callaway Raceway this Friday, for more information visit the track’s website located at www.callawayraceways.com. Gates Open at 5, Drivers Meeting 6:45, Hot Laps 7and Racing at 7:30. Fischer Auto Body is the official presenter of all ULMA events at Callaway this season. At Randolph County Raceway (RCR) on Saturday, Smyser, of Lancaster, Missouri claimed the win over last season’s ULMA Rookie of the Year, Aaron Marrant. Cody Holtkamp, Dutin Hodges, 2015 Champion Jon Melloway, and Kenny Mudd finished out the running order. The next appearance for ULMA late models ar RCR takes place on Saturday, July 1st as part of the annual ‘Triple Crown Shootout’ event. In addition to Callaway Raceway on Friday, racing also takes place on Saturday at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri. Gates open at 5 p.m. with hot laps at 7 and racing at 7:35 with all four weekly classes back in action. Admission Prices for Saturday: Super Saver Special: 4 admissions, 4 hot dogs and 4 Coca-Cola products for $30 for fans arriving prior to 6:30 p.m. Regular admission: Adults (16 and up) $12, Seniors (62 and up)/Military $9, Youth (6-15) $5, Kids (5 and under) FREE, Family Pass $25.
